SI PCF will clean and disinfect 40+ lumen instruments in a single uninterrupted cycle or 10 da Vinci Instruments in one single cycle.  This instrument reprocessing workstation can be used as a standalone unit, twin or multiple wash station.

Sonic Irrigator PCF System for complete reprocessing of lumen devices and da Vinci Instruments: It cleans and disinfects lumen instruments in approximately 30 minutes or less.

The Sonic Irrigator PCF (SI PCF) is a modular instrument reprocessing workstation that can be used as a stand-alone unit, twin-unit, or in multiple-unit configurations.

Choose the feature that best suit your needs:

  • User selected programs with or without low-level, disinfection
  • Ultrasonic-only cycle (for use with standard instrument sets or trays)
  • Sonic irrigation (for cannulated instrument cleaning)
  • Automatic spray pre-wash and rinse
  • Manual Rinse Spray Arm (optional for pre- & post-wash rinsing)

Versatility allows you to match features based upon your specific instrument cleaning needs. The SI PCF provides ultimate reprocessing capabilities in both high-volume throughput and flexibility for your unique requirements.

Innovative, NOT Imitative

The SI PCF System Parametrically Controls the Flow through lumen devices, optimizing both mechanical and chemical cleaning action inside the instruments.

Simultaneous enzyme detergent injection, powerful ultrasonic cleaning action, and high-volume lumen flushing create the cleaning power for today’s cannulated and lumen instrument requirements.

Power Flush: Unlike conventional washers, the SI PCF delivers high pressure wash fluid to the lumen instrument or device. Our PCF system removes soluble residues in the pre-wash phase, and the remainder of insoluble residues in the main wash phase.

Non-ported Instruments – A Push Over: Instruments ranging in diameter from 1mm to 18mm are “quick connected”, providing convenient attachment of lumen instruments with or without flush ports. Simply slide over the distal end of the instrument, connect, and push “start”. Your instruments will be cleaned inside and out!

Rinse Heads – For Cleaning the Outside: A powerful spray-washing device lies ingeniously concealed within the lid to save space. Cool water is then used to remove gross debris from external or exposed parts of the cannulated or lumen instruments. This also means that general instruments may be processed quickly and efficiently.

Low-Level Disinfection: Cutting Edge’s Inline Thermal Disinfection System is used to increase the temperature of the water during the final rinse phase following both time-temperature relationships and intentionally recognized A0 calculation. During the low-level disinfection phase, all instrument surfaces (inside & out) are submerged and flushed in hot water bath during final 5min/195°F rinse process.

Enhanced Sonic Generator: Combination of controlled irrigation and sonics to facilitate inner lumen cleaning. Providing side sweep technology to ensure 100% coverage of wash chamber and greater cleaning performance.

Reflectasonic: Wash chamber surface maximizes extra-long service life and less absorbent to ultrasonic sound waves causing a ‘reflection’ thus vastly improving the cleaning activity and reducing the risk of any dead spots.

Digital System Technology: Digitally sweeps the frequency control for even ultrasonic activity over all transducers. The auto-tune frequency feature searches the ideal frequency to compensate for variations due to instrument load/weight/mass.

Energy-Efficient: Automatic and variable frequency ultrasonic generation ensure effective energy savings.

USB Port Connectivity: Integrated data port for machine cycle traceability via DocBox™ giving the ability to store reprocessing data in real time, whilst on board memory will store previous cycle and parameter details.

Sonic Irrigation Tested & Validated by Leading Instrument Manufacturers!

1.     Sonic Irrigation – Energy for Cleaning

Our unique and patented process allows a sonically charged jet of fluid to pass along the inside of hollow instruments. This ensures that your instruments are exposed to ultrasonic cleaning and high-volume lumen flushing, both inside and out, for superior reprocessing.

2.     Detergent – Chemicals for Cleaning

The detergent/ cleaning solution is injected under pressure into the instrument, removing all air packets, thereby ensuring the cleaning solution makes contact with all surfaces and facilitates the removal of all soil and bioburden.

3.     Rinsing – Deep Clean

Surgical instruments are exposed to pre-wash, wash and thermal rinse (up to 195°F for 5min) key processes for cleaning cannulated and lumened surgical instruments.

4.     Clean, Flush & Low-Level Disinfect

The SI PCF System with Sonic Irrigation tested and validated by leading instruments manufacturers.
